Created and maintained by composer Michael Markowski, the project addresses a common challenge in rehearsals, concert introductions, and classroom settings: the anxiety and potential disrespect of mispronouncing a creator’s name.
The site features over 140 contemporary composers pronouncing their own names in high-quality audio recordings, serving as a vital tool for accuracy, professionalism, and inclusivity in the music industry.
