The Servant Leadership Association for Music (SLAM) is dedicated to transforming school band, orchestra, and choral programs by developing high-character student leaders. Based on the philosophy of service leadership, SLAM provides school programs with training materials, workshop curriculum, and consulting to build a healthy, student-driven organizational culture.

Key Initiatives

Student Leadership Training Curriculums: Comprehensive, year-long curricula tailored to school ensembles, outlining how student officers can manage logistics, mentor younger peers, and build program pride.
On-Site & Virtual Leadership Workshops: Interactive training sessions led by experienced music educators, helping student leadership teams establish clear goals, resolve conflicts, and practice effective communication.
