By hosting elite national events (such as the Bands of America championships and the National Concert Band Festival) and providing extensive advocacy toolkits, Music for All empowers local programs to strive for the highest standards of performance and educational excellence.
Key Initiatives
Section titled “Key Initiatives”- Bands of America (BOA) Championships: Hosts regional, super-regional, and the Grand National marching band championships, providing a benchmark performance venue and educational feedback for school bands across the nation.
- National Concert & Orchestra Festivals: Organizes non-competitive national festivals celebrating excellence in concert band, orchestra, jazz, chamber music, and percussion ensembles.
- Music for All Summer Symposium: A premier week-long summer music camp for high school band students and directors, providing immersive training in drum major leadership, color guard, concert band, and marching arts.
- Advocacy and Community Development: Provides comprehensive advocacy resources and research to help parents, booster organizations, and teachers protect school music programs from funding reductions.
